The 'Land of Plenty' session is usually one of the initial sessions and it is a wonderful process which takes you outside of the 'rational' mind processes to connect with everything that your heart and soul loves and desires to create for you .... without the interference of the left 'rational' often negative brain's beliefs and assumptions.

I came to do the land of plenty work with Geraldine last summer 2010.
I am a single mum and I had recently come out of a 3 year relationship I had hoped would lead to marriage and more children. When I saw saw Geraldine, it felt clear the relationship was over but me and my ex were still very much entangled, not able to move forward as a couple but also not able to fully end our relationship. This state of limbo had gone on in this relationship for 2 years and I was worn out, disillusioned, sad and quite bitter at times.
I felt quite low and like I had missed out, that somehow everything I had hoped for my life was now out of my grasp. It had effected all areas of my life; I felt that I had failed my son by not providing him with a more 'normal' family life, I felt somehow cheated when I compared myself to others. It wasn't like this all the time, but that was an underlying theme.
The initial session was really powerful and great and was a constant reference and source of inspiration throughout our work. I found Geraldine's approach very perceptive and received great guidance, without feeling like I (or the people I could talk about) were being judged but it was really like the guidance was coming from me, which Geraldine could tap into. I was astounded at how accurate the visioning of my land of plenty was and it really tapped into everything that I love.
Through the work we did I felt instantly that I wanted to be nearer nature, by the sea, Cornwall!
We created choices, which I tuned into every day, without listing all of them, one was to easily and effortlessly find my fabulous home and to find a home close to great people and nature.
It was hard and brave as many people said to make the move, where I may not find a job, to uproot my son and to be far away from the support structure of friends and family.
However I really felt that I hadn't chosen to live where I was currently living and after another trip to Cornwall and a bit of anxious umming and ahhing(!) I decided to make the move, then what has opened up since has been really quite amazing, I wanted to keep my options open and asked my landlord if I could return should I decide Cornwall wasn't for me - he agreed that I could return if I gave him 4 months notice. So I then planned my move with the feeling of being able to still have an adventure as a mum, to be able to return should I wish and for me and my son experience another way of life for a while or more.
I found a beautiful fisherman's cottage to rent my son started school in a lovely rural school and has really flourished! we live a 5 minute walk from the sea. I had hoped to get a website done (something which came up in one of the sessions) I am such a technophobe, I think I had quite a block for it to happen, but it came to me, within a month someone said there is a retired man who will do a 3 page website for £80.. So I now have a website! I also got job teaching a few dance sessions for young people dance, which was advertised throughout cornwall and I got the job!
It is still early days but the move has really felt amazing above all the work I did with Geraldine gave me a great sense and appreciation of who I am and feeling OK about where I am now and what is possible. I really enjoyed the feeling of still having an adventurous spirit. This is the kind of thing people think you can only do with security and money and I think I managed to do it with very little money and a security that came from making a move in a way that felt informed, balanced and right.
I can see this work is very good to create what we really want and love and see and enjoy the magic that comes from focusing on it. As I said it is early days and we will see where this takes me but so far so good! This is written on the 8th of February, 7 months after our initial session.
